Fairy Initial Shoot

Playing around with childish makeup, clothing, poses and movement as well as shutter speed to best capture the movement.

Images above ^ inspired by a picture I drew as a kid and my fascination with fairies throughout my childhood- thinking they lived at the bottom of the garden, collected a tin of objects I thought were dropped by fairies, 'studied' fairy books, was in constant awe of their magic.

These edits were strongly inspired by the images I found by Stephanie Francis-Shanahan, trying to make them feel even more playful by experimenting on photoshop with saturation, different filters and overlaying different doodles I found from childhood.
